Jackson Police Officers Association, I.U.P.A. Local 830, consists of hardworking law enforcement men and women throughout the city of Jackson, MS. Jackson Police Officers Association (JPOA) exists to serve the brave men and women who protect and serve the community of Jackson.

Our Mission

To promote the fair and equitable treatment of all its members; work diligently for and with all members and community stakeholders while obtaining and maintaining the best possible working conditions; work collegially to provide a social and fraternal order; ensure and assist any unionized officer needing support due to inequitable treatment; and sustain morale and preserve the welfare of its members for the betterment of officers employed by the Jackson Police Department. Additionally, the aim of the Jackson Police Officers Association is to ensure an effective, educated, and sustained police force for the commitment to, protection of, and service to the citizens of Jackson, MS.
